Sarah called me on Friday to ask about a sharp pain she felt above her belly button. Wanted to know if I had had the same..... "if you can remember" she says! The cheek. Anyway I was one of the lucky ones my pregnancies were virtually uneventful, no morning sickness, no pains easy deliveries, guess that's why I had so many!!!!!! Turns out after googling online that this "pain" isn't anything to worry about as it is often experienced around the 15th to 20th week because the uterus is stretching the very thin skin around the belly button. Not that Sarah was panicking she's not like that, she was just curious.

Sarah and Joe are thinking of having the baby in Smiths Falls. Sarah's Doctor is in Ottawa and she doesn't fancy an hour drive. And she says there is a good chance she won't have her DR. because the group he is associated with take turns being on call. She figures she might just as well take her chances closer to home. She is on a waiting list for a midwife but it's not looking good as there are a lot of babies being born in July! She had another visit with her Dr. on Thurs. Everything is fine. Blood pressure normal. She is having blood work done this week , an ultra sound scheduled for Feb. 19 and her next visit with the Dr. on the 27.
