David has not taken the synthroid for two days. He is not experiencing the overwhelming fatigue. He has managed to stay up till 10:00 the last two nights. He has also increased the prednisone to one a day up from one every other day. This appears to be keeping the polychondritis under control. I am glad I persisted with my concerns about the synthroid and whether his thyroid was really under active. Now he needs to talk to Dr. Edgar about his blood test results. I have suggested he ask for details and explanations re what is the norm in regards to his results.
