We ended 2007 and brought in 2008 with a New Years Eve party with friends and family. The highlight of the evening Davids Pantomime!

It still amazes me how grown "normal" men love to dress in drag for this almost annual event. (Sadly the movie of the pantomime is too large to upload however I was able to upload the ending. Enjoy!) And then there was David's famous crossword with clues that left everyone stumped. I mustn't forget to mention the prizes awarded to the winners of the crossword,"anyone want to buy a watch?". We had a lovely time , a good omen for 2008!


January 1 2008 came in with a storm. We had about 29cm. of snow (10"). That gave us about 3Ft. of snow altogether. The first day of 2008 was spent toasty and warm inside recovering from our"party".


About a week later we had our January thaw, lots of rain and all our snow disappeared. We had grass again, and the river banks were almost over the top. These photos were taken the day after they started to receed, January 11 2008. Except for the snow you'd think it was spring!!!!
